Alper Bayraktar

In Brief

Born in Akçakoca in 1982, Alper Bayraktar completed his middle and high school education at Düzce Arsal Anatolian High School and his university studies in the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University.

As the founding trainer of Etkin İnsan Gelişim Institute, Bayraktar attended many personal development trainings after discovering the field in 1999. In 2003 he completed the yoga trainer training of Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, then continued his master-level yoga training with the Swami Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre. He then completed his yoga therapy training at the Paramanand Institute of Yoga Science & Research.

Between 2005 and 2007, in collaboration with Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, Bayraktar organized many trainer training programs in Turkey. In 2007 he became the first person in Turkey to launch a Yoga Trainer Training program with the approval of Ege University.

From 2010, as the Turkey representative of Institut Paracelse ecole de medicine du Dr. Alain Scohy, one of the world's leading psychosomatic medicine schools, he took Yoga Trainer Training programs to the international stage.

In the Gyrokinesis^® and Gyrotonic^® system, which he began in 2012, he became the only Gyrokinesis^® Master Trainer in Turkey in 2017.

In 2013 Bayraktar became a member of Yoga Alliance, the most respected and most widely recognized yoga accreditation body on every continent, and became Turkey's first and only full-scope yoga trainer able to train trainers internationally in all areas of yoga.
